A special thanks goes toWorld Prophetic Ministires for allowing the questions and answers to be hosted on GoodNews Dispatch. You can visit WPM at their website ... thekingiscoming.com.

QUESTION: Is it possible that the Northern Invasion of Israel spoken of in Ezekiel 38-39 could be the same as Armageddon?

ANSWER: The Bible is not clear about when the Northern Invasion will take place, but most theologians place it at or near the beginning of the Tribulation, rather than at the end, when Armageddon transpires. It could even occur prior to the Rapture. Some people believe that it is the same as Satan's Final Rebellion at the end of the Millennium, since Gog and Magog are mentioned in the passage describing that conflict (Revelation 20:7-9). But we believe that in that case, "Gog and Magog" are symbolic of the unregenerate element of society who rebel against the authority of Christ at that time.

It is conceivable that the Northern Invasion could constitute at least part of the Battle of Armageddon. But it is more likely that they are two separate conflicts for several reasons.

  1. The Northern Invasion involves only specific nations: a great power to the north of Israel, "Magog," most likely Russia, and a number of non-Arab Islamic neighbors of Israel specified in Ezekiel 38:5-6. Armageddon involves all nations of the Earth (Revelation 16:14).
  2. In the Northern Invasion, five-sixths of the invading army is destroyed, leaving only one-sixth (Ezekiel 39:2). At Armageddon, Christ returns and totally annihilates the invading forces, making their bodies a meal for scavenger birds (Revelation 19:17-21).
  3. After the Northern Invasion, it will take seven months to bury the dead (Ezekiel 39:11-15) and seven years to burn the weapons for fuel (Ezekiel 39:9-10). If this were to take place at Armageddon, these time spans would extend into the Millennium, making the first part of it rather unpleasant.

As we can see, then, there are enough differences in the details of the two battles to indicate the extreme likelihood that they are two separate events. [© January 2009, World Prophectic Ministry, www.thekingiscoming.com]

"When you observe your Salat prayers, your voice shall not be too loud, nor too low; you shall maintain an intermediate tone." (17:110)

Why is is then despite these straightforward instructions from the Qu'ran, the "Muslim" masses who were diverted by Hadith; they maintain total silence during the noon prayer, the afternoon prayer, the third unit of the sunset prayer, and the second half of the night prayer. WHERE DID THEY GET THESE INSTRUCTIONS?

Your Qu'ran states that the Quran is COMPLETE and PERFECT.(6:19, 38, & 114).

Why then do the Muslim scholars declare that the Quranic law is not clear!!! Why do they claim that the adulterers are not defined in Quran with regard to their marital status, and that they need Hadith to clarify Quran?

My point is that it CONTRADICTS the Qu'ran when followers of Hadith & Sunna fail to uphold the Quran alone!' Quran says in 17:39 to UPHOLD Quaran alone. PLEASE EXPLAIN!

Can Allah be seen and did Muhammad see his Lord? Yes [S. 53:1-18, 81:15-29], No [6:102-103, 42:51]. WHICH IS IT????

To Marry or Not to Marry? The Qur'an forbids believers to marry idolatrous women [Sura 2:221], and calls Christians idolaters and unbelievers [9:28-33], but still allows Muslims to marry Christian women [5:5]. WHICH IS IT???

How many angels were talking to Mary? When the Qur'an speaks about the announciation of the birth of Jesus to the virgin Mary, Sura 3:42,45 speaks about (several) angels while it is only one in Sura 19:17-21.

Did Jesus Die already? Sura 3:144 states that all messengers died before Muhammad. But 4:158 claims that Jesus was raised to God (alive?).

Will Christians enter Paradise or go to Hell? Sura 2:62 and 5:69 say "Yes", Sura 5:72 (just 3 verses later) and 3:85 say "No".

AFTER 10 YEARS I HAVE NOT FOUND ONE QU'RAN SCHOLAR WHO CAN ANSWER ME. I HAVE ADDITONAL 100's and 100's OF CONTRADICTIONS IN QU'RAN THAT CANNOT BE ANSWERED!

A FEW CONTRADICTTIONS IN THE QURAN:

22:47 A Day with Allah is as A THOUSAND YEARS of what ye reckon.
70:4 Unto Him in a Day whereof the span is FIFTY THOUSAND YEARS.
__________

2:109 Many of the people of the Scripture long to make you disbelievers.... FORGIVE AND BE INDULGENT(toward them) until Allah give command.
9:29 FIGHT AGAINST such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah
__________

3:85 Whoso seeketh as religion other than the Surrender (to Allah) it WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM HIM, and he will be a loser in the Hereafter.
2:62 Those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabaeans - whoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right - surely their reward is with their Lord, AND THERE SHALL NO FEAR COME UPON THEM NEITHER SHALL THEY GRIEVE.
__________

2:253 Of those messengers, some of whom We have caused to excel others, and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spake, WHILE SOME OF THEM HE EXALTED (above others) IN DEGREE.
2:285 We make NO DISTINCTION between any of His messengers.

"Historians say that pre-Islamic Arabs worshipped the moon-god by bowing in prayer toward Mecca several times a day. They would also make a pilgrimage to Mecca, run around the Kabah seven times and throw stones at the devil. And they fasted for one month, which began with the appearance of the crescent moon and ended when the crescent moon reappeared.

These same rites form the core of Islam today: Muslims bow in prayer toward Mecca; they make a pilgrimage to Mecca and run around the Kabah seven times; and they still throw stones at the devil. They also observe the fast of Ramadan, which begins and ends with the crescent moon.
Moreover, the ancient symbol of the pagan moon-god, the crescent moon, is the official symbol of Islam; it appears on the flags of Muslim countries, as well as on the tops of mosques and minarets everywhere."

A prove muslims are in fact pagans, worshiping one of the pagan gods.
